The children are provided with a hot lunch from a menu that rotates on a 4 week basis.

Many of our recipes are taken from the ‘Dinnerlady’ cook book that was inspired by Jamie Oliver. It includes tasty meals such as Italian Chicken Bake, Tuna & Sweetcorn Pasta Bake, Mediterranean Chicken with Rice and Fish Pie served with Peas.

All of the meals served come with a vegetarian option. Please let us know in advance if you want your child to have the vegetarian option at meal time.
Milk, toast & marmite are provided as a mid morning snack, whilst in the afternoon we offer dried fruit, breadsticks and rice cakes.

Tea-times are a ‘lighter’ affair, with our menu including beans on toast, homemade Leek & Potato Soup, sandwiches & salad chunks, fishfingers & sweetcorn. Fresh fruit is offered for pudding.

All meals are prepared and cooked in our nursery kitchen by our cook. We are pleased to hold a platinum certificate ‘Eat Well Award’, given to us by Cheshire County Council.

Babies are provided with a range of purees when weaning, starting with vegetables and gradually introducing chicken and fish when parents wish us to.
When ready, our babies can move onto pureed or roughly chopped versions of our main menu.
